John Cena is expanding his presence in the entertainment industry, taking on the role of executive producer for a new series on HGTV. The network announced the project, titled “Junk or Jackpot?”, which will feature television personality Bobby Berk.
The show follows collectors as they discover the monetary value of their unusual items, from rare puppets to superhero figurines. Cena commented on his new off-screen role, expressing his enthusiasm for the concept.
“What we collect is a reflection of who we are and what we love. Grateful to @HGTV and Bobby for making this project come to life!”
This new venture comes during Cena’s official WWE Farewell Tour, which is set to conclude with his in-ring retirement in December 2025. Despite winding down his wrestling career, he remains at the top of the company as the reigning Undisputed WWE Champion.
Cena’s schedule remains packed both in and out of the ring. He recently defended his title against CM Punk at the Night of Champions event on June 28. His next major title defense is scheduled for SummerSlam in August, where he will face Cody Rhodes.
Beyond his WWE commitments, Cena continues to build his acting career. He recently starred in the action-comedy “Heads of State” and is set for the return of the HBO Max series “Peacemaker” on August 21, 2025.
