John Cena Expresses Interest in Acting Project with Major Star

John Cena discussed potential post-wrestling plans in an interview with Collider, expressing openness to collaborating with CM Punk in an acting project after his in-ring retirement in 2025.

The 16-time World Champion referenced his history with CM Punk in WWE, where they competed against each other and occasionally formed alliances. Their last in-ring encounter occurred over a decade ago.

I think the viewing public probably would get a kick out of… Usually, in the action-comedy space, it’s kind of oil and water, or two comedy styles that combat each other, and I don’t want to say ‘combat,’ but I think people would dig me and CM Punk together.

Cena played a significant role in CM Punk’s rise to prominence in WWE. The Leader of the Cenation plans to conclude his in-ring career at the end of 2025.
