The highly anticipated dream match between John Cena and AJ Styles is officially set for WWE Crown Jewel, bringing the two veterans head-to-head at the major PLE in Perth. Chief Content Officer Triple H confirmed the bout earlier today after a fan-driven social media campaign. Following the announcement, Cena took to social media to react and thank those involved.

Scheduled for Saturday, October 11, in Perth, Western Australia, the match will serve as the tiebreaker in their rivalry, with their singles record currently tied at 2–2.
This booking marks a quick turnaround for Cena, who is coming off a loss to Brock Lesnar this past Saturday at Wrestlepalooza. Styles, notably, was not booked for that event.
