John Cena has made his first social media post since delivering his verbal tirade against WWE fans on the March 17 episode of RAW. The post follows his first televised appearance since turning heel at Elimination Chamber 2025.
During the RAW opening segment, Cena announced he was breaking up with the WWE fanbase. The 16-time World Champion told the audience he was walking away from what he described as a “toxic” relationship with fans.
Following his appearance on RAW, Cena shared an image on his Instagram account featuring Ross and Rachel from the sitcom Friends. The photo appears to reference the relationship metaphor Cena used during his promo about ending his connection with fans.
Cody Rhodes interrupted Cena’s RAW segment, telling him to ensure the real John Cena shows up at WrestleMania 41. Rhodes called his rival a “whiny b*tch” during the confrontation.
Cena earned his WWE Championship match against Rhodes by winning the Elimination Chamber match on March 1. The two superstars will face each other at WrestleMania 41, scheduled for April 19-20, 2025, at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada.
If Cena emerges victorious in this match, he will begin his 17th WWE world title reign, breaking the recognized record of 16 reigns currently shared by both Cena and Ric Flair.
