Jordynne Grace has turned an on-screen humiliation into a new look, revealing a straight-haired style on social media Tuesday. The change is the direct result of a significant angle at NXT No Mercy, where opponent Blake Monroe forcibly cut Grace’s hair during their Weaponized Cage match.
In an Instagram video, the NXT superstar showcased the new look, a departure from her signature curls. Grace acknowledged the temporary nature of the change in a caption, stating, “The curls WILL be back.“
The haircut angle was a pivotal moment in her victory over Monroe. Mid-match, Monroe handcuffed Grace to the ropes with a hair dryer and proceeded to cut off a portion of her hair. The incident prompted Grace to post on social media on September 28, seeking recommendations for a hairstylist in the Orlando area.
The match at No Mercy was booked as the culmination of a rivalry that began when Monroe, formerly known as Mariah May in AEW, turned heel and betrayed Grace at WWE Evolution 2.
Grace’s WWE career began in January 2025 when she entered the Women’s Royal Rumble match.
