In a recent interview with Chris Van Vliet, Carlito addressed his absence from in-ring competition since November 2023. His last match took place after the November 15th edition of SmackDown, where he competed alongside The Judgment Day against Braun Strowman and LWO in a dark match.
For a little bit, yeah I can continue wrestling. I still feel like I have a little bit left in the tank. I think I got a few more years in me. Not many, but a few. Wrestling into my 50s? Probably not gonna happen. No. Mentally, I think. But my body’s probably not going to take it.
Not having to wrestle every week has helped me out a lot. I’ve been dealing with some injuries so not bumping has helped. But, yeah, like I said, there’s still a little bit left in the tank.
Carlito continues to appear in segments with The Judgment Day while managing his physical condition. His wrestling career spans from his 2010 WWE debut to his current run, which began in 2023, including a reign as United States Champion.
