Kairi Sane Reacts To “KAIRI” Chant Potentially Replacing Jey Uso’s “YEET”

Kairi Sane Reacts To “KAIRI” Chant Potentially Replacing Jey Uso’s “YEET”

Kairi Sane has reacted to social media discussion suggesting a new catchphrase, born from recent Damage CTRL segments, could soon replace Jey Uso’s “YEET” as the most popular chant in WWE. When a user on X pointed out the possibility, Sane responded with a post indicating she was listening closely.

“‼️👀👂🏻👂🏻👂🏻💦,” Sane posted.

The moment has grown organically out of on-screen friction within Damage CTRL. In recent weeks, Asuka and Sane have shown disapproval of IYO SKY’s seemingly friendly relationship with Rhea Ripley. This has led to arguments where Asuka has walked off camera before shouting, “KAIRI,” prompting a surprised Sane to rush after her. The recurring bit has quickly become a fan favorite.

This new chant’s potential rise challenges what has become a defining sound in WWE. Jey Uso’s “YEET” has been central to his ascent, a period which saw him win the Men’s Royal Rumble match in February and capture the World Heavyweight Championship from Gunther at WrestleMania 41.

The champion’s connection with the audience through the catchphrase has also translated to business success. His “Four Letters, One Word” t-shirt was the top-selling item in the WWE Shop this past June, cementing his status as a consistent top merchandise seller.

While Sane has acknowledged the growing popularity of the “KAIRI” shout, Jey Uso has not yet commented on the potential new challenger to his signature chant.
