Karrion Kross brought back his classic NXT entrance with Scarlett during commercial breaks on Netflix’s Raw broadcast before facing AJ Styles.
A familiar entrance made an unexpected return during the April 14 edition of RAW, though many viewers may have missed it. Karrion Kross revived his signature entrance from his past, but it was presented exclusively during the commercial breaks on Netflix’s broadcast.
The nostalgic moment occurred at Sacramento’s Golden 1 Center just before Kross squared off against AJ Styles. Viewers watching during the commercial break witnessed Scarlett accompanying Kross to the ring with the distinct black and white visual presentation that once defined his character presentation on NXT. The entrance closely mirrored the trademark style that helped Kross get over during his NXT run.
During his time in NXT, Kross captured championship gold and was known for having one of the brand’s most memorable entrances. When moved to the main roster, WWE had significantly scaled back the theatrical elements of his presentation until this surprise revival.
WWE offered no explanation regarding why the throwback entrance was reserved for the commercial break rather than being showcased during the main broadcast. The timing is particularly noteworthy with WrestleMania 41 approaching in the coming weeks, though there has been no announcement regarding Kross’s potential involvement in WWE’s premier event.
