Nick Aldis and Kevin Owens’ ongoing SmackDown rivalry might culminate at WrestleMania 41 in Paradise, Nevada. Wrestling veterans discussed this possibility on a recent episode of Keepin’ It 100, praising Owens’ recent performances.
The Prizefighter’s SmackDown ban storyline has caught attention, with Disco Inferno highlighting Owens’ creative response to the restriction. “He’s been posting these videos from his phone in his car,” Inferno noted, rating Owens’ work as “A+.”
Last week’s episode saw Cody Rhodes confront Aldis about reinstating Owens. The American Nightmare’s ultimatum forced the SmackDown General Manager to reconsider his stance, adding another layer to their complex relationship.
The seeds for an Aldis-Owens showdown were planted during the October 13 season premiere, when the newly-appointed sheriff orchestrated Owens’ trade to SmackDown for Jey Uso.
