Kevin Owens Exposes All His Scrapped WrestleMania Plans
Kevin Owens discusses two special WrestleMania entrance concepts rejected by WWE, including a live band idea and arena entrance plan.

Kevin Owens has shared details about creative entrance proposals for past WrestleMania events that were turned down by WWE officials. The revelation comes as Owens deals with the recent cancellation of his scheduled WrestleMania 41 match against Randy Orton due to injury.
During an appearance on the “My Mom’s Basement” podcast, Owens described his first rejected concept from WrestleMania 32 in 2016.
In my first year, my first WrestleMania, I suggested to Vince (McMahon): ‘What if a live band was playing my music, but when I appear, I look at them and start breaking all their instruments because they’re taking the spotlight from me?’. He replied: ‘That doesn’t make sense. Why would you bring them here to play your music and then break their instruments?’. I said: ‘No, I think people will assume WWE hired them and I just…’. He said: ‘Why would you be mad about them playing your music?’. ‘I would have to share the stage with them’. ‘No’. ‘Ok’.
Owens also detailed a second rejected pitch for WrestleMania 39 in Los Angeles when he and Sami Zayn were in the main event.
Sami and I are in the ring during the afternoon, watching everyone’s entrances as they rehearse these crazy entrances, and we think: ‘We’re in the main event and we don’t have anything. Maybe we could come from the crowd or something’. We told Triple H: ‘Everyone has these crazy entrances and we have nothing’. He responds: ‘You don’t need anything’. ‘What do you mean?’. ‘You guys are tough. You’re not the type of guys who would have these big elaborate entrances’. ‘Alright, can we come through the crowd?’. He looks around: ‘Look around, where are you going to come from? It’s going to take forever’. I reply: ‘Yeah, I guess that’s true’.
