AEW World Trios Champion Claudio Castagnoli delivered a chilling message to the locker room following a successful night for The Death Riders. The faction, which currently holds multiple championships across the company, has established itself as a dominant force since its formation from the remnants of the Blackpool Combat Club.
Led by AEW World Champion Jon Moxley, The Death Riders roster includes Castagnoli, Wheeler Yuta, PAC, and Marina Shafir. The group has distinguished itself by having nearly every member hold championship gold, with Moxley as the World Champion while Castagnoli, Yuta, and PAC reign as the World Trios Champions.
Castagnoli took to Instagram with a photo featuring himself alongside Yuta, Shafir, and Moxley, accompanied by an ominous caption that read simply:
The Movement is Ours.
This declaration comes following The Death Riders’ continued success against former TNT Champion Adam Copeland and Jay White. The faction demonstrated their ruthlessness at Grand Slam Australia, where Moxley and Castagnoli defeated the duo in a Brisbane Brawl match. The conflict continues to escalate as Moxley is scheduled to defend his World Championship against Copeland at Revolution 2025.
The Death Riders have become notorious for their unmerciful approach, leaving numerous AEW competitors in their wake. Their philosophy centers around a language of violence, with Castagnoli’s message suggesting more targets await within the AEW locker room.
