Logan Paul Apologizes To The Rock For Leaking Conversation

Former WWE United States Champion Logan Paul has inadvertently revealed a major change in his relationship with Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, accidentally airing a private video message from the Hollywood star on his YouTube channel. The clip confirmed that the two have reconciled years after Johnson publicly severed ties with Paul.

The fallout stemmed from Paul’s infamous 2017 vlog filmed in Japan, which featured footage of a s—cide victim. The scandal prompted Johnson to cut all professional connections with Paul and request the removal of their collaborative work.

In the newly surfaced clip, Johnson expressed support ahead of Paul’s scheduled interview with filmmaker Benny Safdie, who directed Johnson’s upcoming movie The Smashing Machine.

“Yo, my brother, I know I look super cool right now. Brother, I know you’re doing Benny Safdie today, I’m so happy that you’re going to meet him,” Johnson said. “That’s my guy, that’s my brother and he changed my life and I just want you to know that and you guys are going to have an amazing talk. I told Benny how much man I just love you and you guys are going to have a great talk.”

Once he realized his mistake, Paul quickly cut the playback. “I’m just going to listen to the rest of this off camera. Sorry, I shouldn’t have filmed it. I was just very excited, Dwayne Johnson he’s been very nice to me recently,” he explained.

The personal moment comes as Paul continues to weigh in on WWE’s business direction. On his channel, he recently endorsed the decision to stage WrestleMania 43 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, in 2027—a move Hall of Famer Eric Bischoff criticized as “disappointing.” Paul defended the choice by citing his own career milestones in the Kingdom, including his widely praised match against Roman Reigns and his U.S. Title win over Rey Mysterio at Crown Jewel.

While Johnson promotes The Smashing Machine ahead of its release next month, Paul is coming off a recent loss to John Cena at WWE Clash in Paris and has also recently tied the knot.
