Logan Paul has announced his transition to the RAW roster as WWE prepares for its Netflix era debut. Meanwhile, reports suggest The Maverick is set for a high-profile bout against former UFC Lightweight Champion Conor McGregor.

McGregor appeared to confirm the matchup through X/Twitter by resharing a post about their planned encounter at Mumbai’s Wankhede Stadium in 2025. The event, reportedly hosted by the Ambani family, would see both competitors earning $250 million each.

Paul’s most recent WWE appearance resulted in losing his United States Championship to LA Knight at SummerSlam. McGregor last competed in July 2021, falling to Dustin Poirier in UFC competition.

WrestleMania plans spark internal discussion

Questions surround Paul’s potential involvement in John Cena’s final WrestleMania appearance. According to WrestleVotes, WWE management has expressed hesitation about booking Paul as Cena’s farewell opponent at WrestleMania 41.

The reported concerns center on the historic significance of Cena’s last WrestleMania match, with officials preferring a more established performer for the 16-time World Champion’s sendoff.

While Paul has demonstrated exceptional athletic ability, the company appears focused on crafting a fitting conclusion to Cena’s storied WrestleMania career.
