Logan Paul Praises John Cena As A “Mastermind” Following WWE Clash In Paris Loss

Despite his loss to John Cena at Clash in Paris, Logan Paul released a vlog expressing significant praise for the wrestling veteran. In the video, Paul referred to Cena as a “mastermind of the craft” and used the platform to affirm his commitment to his WWE career, stating he is more motivated than ever and ready to work.

The match was a key stop on Cena’s farewell tour, as he plans to retire in December. Cena secured his 99th premium live event victory in the contest via pinfall after delivering two consecutive Attitude Adjustments to Paul.

“It’s still surreal that I got to go toe-to-toe with another GOAT. Floyd Mayweather, Roman Reigns, and now John Cena. What a fever dream. I’m so grateful for the experience,” Logan stated in his vlog. “Although I didn’t come away with my hand raised, I got more victories than I can count. Working with John…he’s such a f—king mastermind of the craft and I learned so much.”

Paul also referenced the positive fan reception to the bout.

“The sentiment for the match, from fans, which is always the most important, has been great. I saw a couple of people saying that is one of Cena’s greatest matches ever, which is crazy, and definitely one of his best matches of the year. I’m going to stay humble, but I definitely gave the guy a run for his money. He’s very f—king good. I see why he’s the GOAT.”

The competitive nature of the match saw Cena incorporate rare moves like a Tornado DDT and the Styles Clash, while Paul executed a Flapjack, a Vertical Suplex, and a Gutwrench Powerbomb.

Paul concluded his vlog with a direct message to both the company and its audience, signaling his future intentions.

“I’m leaving Paris more motivated now than ever. I want to work. I want to be the biggest entertainer in the world, and I think I proved that I’m capable of doing that. To the WWE audience, to Triple H, I’m ready to f—king work. I proved I have the capability. Put me in, coach. WWE audience, this is the beginning of a very long journey. If you hate me, I’m not going anywhere. If you love me, I’ll see you soon.”
