Logan Paul Says John Cena Wrestles Better Than Picasso Paints

Logan Paul may not have defeated John Cena in Paris, but he walked away with a profound new level of respect for the 17-time champion’s craft. On a recent episode of his Impaulsive podcast, Paul offered a striking comparison to describe Cena’s in-ring talent.

“John Cena wrestles better than Pablo Picasso paints,” Paul stated. “Sorry to all the Picasso stans out there, but he is so good at what he does.”

Reflecting on the match, which took place just two weeks after his wedding, Paul described the experience as a masterclass. He admitted that halfway through the bout, he was struck by the thought, “holy s—t, John Cena is so f—king good.” This respect was amplified by a 4.5-star rating from Dave Meltzer and on-air praise from Michael Cole, who predicted Paul will be a future world champion.

While Paul’s match with Cena appears to be a one-off part of the veteran’s retirement tour, Cena’s road is far from over. His next major stop is a “One Last Time” encounter with Brock Lesnar at WrestlePalooza on September 20.

The match was made official after Lesnar viciously attacked Cena on the September 5 edition of SmackDown, interfering in his U.S. Title match against Sami Zayn and hitting him with two F-5s.

For Paul, the loss was a milestone that solidified his own ambitions. When asked if winning the WWE Title was a goal, he was definitive. “It’s not a goal. It’s inevitable.”
