AEW has modified the Women’s World Championship match for Revolution 2025, adding a Falls Count Anywhere stipulation to the contest between Toni Storm and challenger Mariah May. The premium live event takes place on March 9 at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, California.
The championship showdown was previously announced as a standard singles match, but will now allow for pinfalls and submissions to occur anywhere in the arena, removing the traditional ring count-out and rope break limitations.
This title match joins four other championship contests scheduled for the card. Mercedes Mone will defend her TBS Championship against Momo Watanabe, The Hurt Syndicate puts their tag team titles on the line against The Outrunners, and Konosuke Takeshita defends the International Championship against Kenny Omega. AEW World Champion Jon Moxley is also set to defend against Cope.
The Revolution Zero Hour pre-show will feature Big Boom A.J’s return to in-ring action, as he teams with Orange Cassidy and Mark Briscoe to face the trio of Johnny TV, Mansoor, and Mason Madden in six-man tag team competition.
Revolution marks one of AEW’s signature events of the year and will showcase a total of five championship matches across the main card, making it one of the most title-heavy shows in recent company history.
