Major Free Agent Could Be Heading to WWE

WWE has shown interest in Jeff Cobb following his entry into the free agent market, according to a new report from Fightful Select.
Cobb has built his reputation on the independent circuit and in Japan as a professional wrestler. He found success both as a singles competitor and in tag team competition alongside Great-O-Khan in New Japan Pro Wrestling.
Fightful Select reports that WWE’s interest in Cobb emerged when he became a free agent. Last month, Cobb hinted at potentially taking his talents elsewhere after his position on the card in Japan began to decline.
The report also states that the current WWE regime has been keeping an eye on Cobb as his free agency developed.
