Major Name Removed from WWE Worlds Collide

WWE has confirmed a lineup change for tomorrow's Worlds Collide event in Las Vegas, replacing La Parka in the eight-man Lucha Showcase tag match.

Major Name Removed from WWE Worlds Collide

The updated match now features Laredo Kid teaming with Nino Hamburguesa, Octagon Jr, and Mascarita Sagrada to face the team of Cruz Del Toro, Joaquin Wilde, Lince Dorado, and Mini Abismo Negro. The event, which takes place in Las Vegas, is set to air live immediately following SmackDown. This tight scheduling raises questions about the commentary team, as Corey Graves, who has previously called these joint shows, was just announced as part of the SmackDown booth for the next couple of months.

This change adds another layer of intrigue to the second major event from the ongoing WWE and AAA collaboration.

The WWE and AAA Partnership

This Worlds Collide special, heavily promoted by WWE Chief Content Officer Triple H, showcases a blend of talent from both promotions.

The partnership’s goal is to present unique matchups, headlined tomorrow night by El Hijo Del Vikingo defending his AAA Mega Championship against current WWE Intercontinental Champion, Dominik Mysterio. Other WWE stars scheduled for the show include the LWO, The Judgment Day, and The New Day, further cementing the crossover nature of the event.
