Major Plans Revealed for Tonight’s WWE RAW in Indiana

Just hours before going live, WWE announced that Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes will open tonight’s Raw. Fresh off his WrestlePalooza title defense against Drew McIntyre, Rhodes is now on a collision course with World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins for Crown Jewel.

Newly crowned Women’s World Champion Stephanie Vaquer is also set to appear. After dethroning IYO SKY at WrestlePalooza, Vaquer prepares for a champion-versus-champion match in Perth, Australia. Her opponent for the October 11 event will be determined Friday on SmackDown, when Tiffany Stratton defends her title in a Triple Threat against Nia Jax and Jade Cargill.

The Evansville card also features Bayley vs. Roxanne Perez, along with a no disqualification six-man tag: The New Day and Grayson Waller vs. the War Raiders and Penta El Zero Miedo.

Fallout from WrestlePalooza continues after CM Punk and AJ Lee defeated Seth Rollins and Becky Lynch in a mixed tag. The win saw Lee make the reigning Women’s Intercontinental Champion tap out for the first time in six years, marking her in-ring return after a decade.

Tonight’s Raw, a key stop on the road to Crown Jewel, goes live from the Ford Center in Evansville, Indiana. The show streams exclusively on Netflix at 7 p.m. ET.
