Major Return Possible at AEW Revolution After Nearly 1 Year

Wardlow has been seen in Los Angeles, the location of tonight’s AEW Revolution pay-per-view. According to Fightful Select’s Sean Ross Sapp, Wardlow’s visit to the city coincides with the event but is primarily for an unrelated project.

The former AEW star has been absent from television for nearly a year, with his last match taking place on the March 13th episode of Dynamite. During that match, Wardlow lost to then-AEW World Champion Samoa Joe via referee stoppage.

Sources haven’t confirmed Wardlow’s presence backstage at the venue, but noted it “wouldn’t be surprising” if he were there. Reports throughout his absence have consistently pointed to an injury as the reason for his extended time away from AEW programming.

As of now, there is no confirmation of Wardlow appearing on tonight’s Revolution broadcast, nor any updates regarding his potential return timeline to AEW television.
