Major Returns Rumored for WWE Evolution
Nikki and Brie Bella tease July return on their show, adding credibility to reports of WWE Evolution 2 taking place on July 5.

The wrestling world has been buzzing about the potential resurrection of an all-women’s showcase, and now some very familiar faces have all but confirmed their involvement. What started as industry whispers about WWE Evolution making its long-awaited return has gained serious traction thanks to two of the division’s most recognizable stars dropping not-so-subtle hints about lacing up their boots once more for a very specific date this summer.
On a recent episode of The Nikki and Brie Show, Nikki Bella teased something major when she mentioned a return for “something special” happening in July. The timing couldn’t be more telling, with Brie’s knowing reaction making it clear they were discussing Evolution without actually saying the name.
If I wanted to get a tattoo, my boobs done, or even cut my hair, I had to ask permission from WWE.
These hints align perfectly with reports indicating Evolution 2 is targeted for July 5 at the Mohegan Sun Arena. The original event in October 2018 featured marquee matches including Becky Lynch facing Charlotte Flair in a Last Woman Standing match and Nikki Bella challenging Ronda Rousey for the RAW Women’s Championship. Charlotte Flair has already expressed her support for bringing the premium live event back to WWE’s calendar.
With nearly seven years having passed since the groundbreaking first edition, Evolution’s return represents more than just nostalgia – it’s a testament to how far women’s wrestling has come. The current women’s roster is arguably stronger than ever, setting the stage for what could be a defining summer showcase that might finally transform Evolution from a one-off event into an annual tradition that fans can count on. The Bellas’ involvement would bridge the gap between eras while cementing their legacy in the division they helped build.
