Major Title Match Announced During WWE SmackDown

Bianca Belair and Naomi will defend their WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships against Lash Legend and Jakara Jackson on the January 28th episode of WWE NXT at Center Stage in Atlanta, Georgia.

The title defense announcement came following Belair and Naomi’s victory over Nia Jax and Candice LeRae on the January 17th episode of SmackDown. Legend and Jackson secured their championship opportunity by defeating Alba Fyre and Isla Dawn of Unholy Union on the January 14th episode of NXT.

This marks a return opportunity for Legend and Jackson, who previously challenged for the titles at WWE Crown Jewel in a four-way match when Jade Cargill was Belair’s partner. Naomi joined Belair as her new partner on December 20th on SmackDown, following an attack on Cargill in the parking lot on November 22nd. Cargill has not appeared on WWE programming since the incident.
