Major Twist in Ryan Nemeth's Lawsuit Against AEW and CM Punk
Ryan Nemeth withdraws lawsuit against AEW and CM Punk, opting for private arbitration while retaining the right to resume legal action if needed.

A significant development has emerged in the ongoing dispute between Ryan Nemeth and All Elite Wrestling, as both parties have moved away from the public courtroom setting. The legal confrontation that included allegations against CM Punk has taken a new direction this week.
Court records reveal that Nemeth voluntarily dismissed his lawsuit on Monday, with AEW simultaneously withdrawing its petition to bring the matter to arbitration. According to POST Wrestling, both parties have agreed to resolve their differences through private arbitration instead of continuing the public legal process.
Mike Caspino, representing Nemeth in the case, confirmed that no settlement has been reached between the parties. The attorney clarified that the shift to arbitration was a mutual decision, though specific reasons behind this strategic change remain undisclosed.
The dismissals were filed “without prejudice,” preserving Nemeth’s option to reinstate the lawsuit should the arbitration process prove unsuccessful. The TNA roster member’s original filing included claims that CM Punk and AEW president Tony Khan attempted to damage his wrestling career through boycott actions.
CM Punk, who was specifically named in the allegations, has not offered any public statement regarding this latest development in the case. This particular legal matter stands separate from other recent proceedings against AEW, including cases filed by former employee Kevin Kelly and the Tate Twins.
