Major Update On Tiffany Stratton’s WWE Wrestlepalooza Match After Legitimate Injury

The planned Triple Threat match for the WWE Women’s Championship at Wrestlepalooza has been removed from the card.

According to a report from BodySlam, the scheduled clash between champion Tiffany Stratton, Jade Cargill, and Nia Jax will be postponed. The match is now set for the September 26 episode of WWE SmackDown.

The change follows an injury Stratton suffered on last week’s SmackDown. During her title defense against Cargill, which ended in a double count-out, Stratton landed awkwardly while executing a moonsault to the outside. After the match, Nia Jax attacked both competitors, setting the stage for the three-way rivalry.

The Wrestling Observer Newsletter later reported that Stratton sustained a concussion.

WWE has already addressed her condition publicly. Stratton was removed from a scheduled appearance on this week’s NXT Homecoming special, with the company announcing that she was not medically cleared to compete.

With Wrestlepalooza less than 24 hours away, WWE is expected to deliver an official update on Stratton’s status and the future of the championship match during tonight’s episode of SmackDown.
