Major Update on Undertaker’s WWE Status Ahead of RAW at MSG
WWE Hall of Famer The Undertaker reportedly arrived early in New York City and might appear on Monday’s Raw broadcast from Madison Square Garden.
Fightful Select reports that The Undertaker has arrived in New York City ahead of his scheduled NXT Roadblock appearance and could potentially make an appearance on Raw.
The WWE Hall of Famer was previously announced for Tuesday’s NXT Roadblock at The Theater at Madison Square Garden, where he will join fellow WWE LFG hosts Bubba Ray Dudley, Booker T, and Mickie James. Sources now indicate he has come to the city early and might be featured on Monday’s Raw broadcast.
While sources could not confirm if The Deadman is officially booked for tonight’s show, reports note he has been present throughout the day at Madison Square Garden.
The Undertaker has a long history with The World’s Most Famous Arena, dating back to his WWE debut in 1991. His final match at Madison Square Garden took place on July 7, 2018, when he teamed with Roman Reigns and Braun Strowman to defeat Elias, Kevin Owens, and Baron Corbin in the main event of a house show.
Since retiring from in-ring competition in November 2020, The Undertaker has maintained a presence in WWE, most recently congratulating Rhea Ripley on her Women’s World Championship victory during the Raw Netflix premiere. He has focused on mentoring future generations through his work with WWE LFG, NXT, and the Performance Center.
Monday’s Raw will feature a steel cage grudge match between Seth Rollins and CM Punk, following their confrontation at WWE Elimination Chamber and subsequent brawl on last week’s show that led to both men being ejected by Adam Pearce.
Other announced matches for Raw include Jey Uso facing Grayson Waller and New Day competing against Rey Mysterio and Dragon Lee. AJ Styles is also scheduled to call out Logan Paul.
