Major Update on Vince McMahon’s Future in Pro-Wrestling Revealed
Wrestling Observer Radio reports Vince McMahon is developing an entertainment company rather than a wrestling promotion, contradicting recent rumors about his post-WWE plans.

Vince McMahon is reportedly creating an entertainment venture rather than returning to professional wrestling. Information shared on Wrestling Observer Radio clarifies McMahon’s direction following widespread speculation about potential new wrestling endeavors.
McMahon resigned from TKO in January 2024 and has maintained distance from WWE operations since his departure. Recent rumors suggested the veteran promoter might launch a competing wrestling organization, but sources close to the situation have now refuted this possibility.
Dave Meltzer addressed these claims directly during a recent Wrestling Observer Radio broadcast.
He’s [McMahon] not starting a wrestling promotion, I can tell you that. He’s starting an entertainment company, yeah. There was stuff floating around yesterday of him starting a wrestling company and those close to him say, ‘No, that is not happening.
McMahon transformed WWE from a regional operation into a global sports entertainment powerhouse during his decades of leadership. His extensive experience and business acumen in professional wrestling would make him a valuable asset for any promotion, making the rumors particularly credible until this recent clarification.
The 79-year-old executive has faced significant controversies over the past two years. While contending with his ongoing legal battle against former WWE employee Janel Grant, McMahon was recently spotted attending the 2025 Super Bowl.
Vince McMahon is NOT starting his own pro wrestling promotion.

Undertaker Weighs In on WWE Hall of Fame 2025 Controversy
WWE Hall of Famer The Undertaker addresses criticism of Triple H headlining the 2025 WWE Hall of Fame class during his Six Feet Under podcast, calling the induction well-deserved.

The Undertaker addressed Triple H’s upcoming induction into the WWE Hall of Fame as the headliner of the Class of 2025 during a recent episode of his “Six Feet Under” podcast.
The WWE Hall of Famer defended the decision to induct Triple H, noting that the honor is well-deserved based on his career accomplishments.
Regardless of what people think, he is not going to put himself in the Hall of Fame. And if there’s anybody that is up there that deserves to be in the Hall of Fame — now I know he’s there in DX, but that’s completely different, right? But his resume speaks for itself. Anybody that understands anything about wrestling, he’s a first ballot Hall of Fame guy, but he is not going to put himself in there. And it’s just — there’s just certain people, it’s not a Hall of Fame if they’re not in it. And it has to be done. It has to, it had to be done.
The Undertaker also responded to online criticism regarding Triple H’s induction, dismissing detractors in blunt terms.
And you know, all the jagoffs that have nothing to do but to get on social media sites and — you know, what? Screw them. It had to be done.
Triple H was previously inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2019 as a member of D-Generation X, alongside Shawn Michaels, X-Pac, Billy Gunn, Road Dogg, and Chyna.
The WWE Hall of Fame Class of 2025 ceremony will take place during WrestleMania 41 weekend.

Update on Steve Austin’s WrestleMania 41 Status
WWE Hall of Famer Stone Cold Steve Austin provides recovery update three months after knee replacement surgery, stating he cannot run and is only at 25-30% recovery.

WWE Hall of Famer Stone Cold Steve Austin disclosed his current recovery status following a knee replacement in a recent interview with The Takedown on SI.
Austin revealed he is currently three months into his recovery process and still has significant limitations on his physical abilities.
I’m right at three months recovery. I can’t run on this knee. So, I would say I’m 25 to 30%. I’m just doing body weight squats and just other stuff that my physical therapist told me.
The WWE legend explained that despite the limitations, he has experienced a significant reduction in pain levels since the surgery.
The best thing about the knee is I’m out of pain. I was in so much pain, because there was so much arthritis and I was bone on bone, so immediately when they cut all that stuff out, you know, you’re dealing with the healing process, but it (s*cks) being in pain for all those years. I delayed it and I’m in a good place. I just gotta get healed up
Austin last appeared in WWE nearly three years ago at WrestleMania 38, where he defeated Kevin Owens in a No Holds Barred Match, marking his first in-ring action in approximately two decades.
Rumors have circulated that Austin might return at WrestleMania 41 to potentially help Cody Rhodes against John Cena and The Rock.
The Hall of Famer did not directly address these rumors in the interview, focusing instead on his current rehabilitation process.
Theories
Drew McIntyre to Target WWE Champion at The Rock’s Request?
A potential post-WrestleMania 41 storyline could develop with Drew McIntyre joining The Rock’s faction to target Cody Rhodes, building on their previous tag team history.

Drew McIntyre could potentially become the third member of The Rock’s alliance with John Cena to target Cody Rhodes following WrestleMania 41. This possibility emerges as Rhodes prepares to defend his Undisputed WWE Championship against Cena at wrestling’s biggest event.
The American Nightmare recently refused to align with The Final Boss at WWE Elimination Chamber 2025, resulting in a brutal attack from Cena, The Rock, and Travis Scott. This attack established the championship match for WrestleMania 41.
The feud between Rhodes and The Rock’s faction may continue beyond WrestleMania, regardless of the championship match outcome. The article explores how McIntyre could join this storyline as another opponent for Rhodes.
McIntyre’s potential inclusion in The Rock’s group makes narrative sense due to his established relationship with The People’s Champion. Reports indicate The Rock played a significant role in McIntyre re-signing with WWE last year.
This connection could be showcased on television by portraying McIntyre as The Final Boss’ first signing as a TKO Board of Directors member. The Scottish Warrior would add a credible threat to the emerging faction targeting Rhodes.
A rivalry between McIntyre and Rhodes would gain additional depth through their shared history as former tag team partners in WWE. This past connection would add personal stakes to any potential confrontation.
If Rhodes retains his championship at WrestleMania, McIntyre could serve as his next challenger. Alternatively, if Rhodes loses the title, defeating The Rock’s associates could provide his path back to championship contention.
WWE reportedly has significant plans for McIntyre in 2025, and aligning him with established stars like The Rock and Cena would represent a major push for his character.
