Adam Pearce has thrown a massive curveball into the women’s championship picture by naming Bianca Belair as special guest referee for next week’s title clash between Rhea Ripley and Iyo Sky.
The Raw General Manager finally cleared up the confusion surrounding Belair’s WrestleMania 41 title shot, which she earned after winning the Elimination Chamber match.
The situation became complicated when Sky defeated Ripley to claim the championship, followed by Ripley crashing Belair and Sky’s contract signing to insert herself into the WrestleMania picture.
Pearce has now settled the matter by scheduling a high-stakes title rematch between Sky and Ripley for the March 31st episode of Raw in London.
Belair’s role as special referee adds another layer of intrigue, as she’ll have direct influence over who she faces at the Show of Shows in Las Vegas.
