Major WWE Stars Announced for Survivor Series

A new report outlines potential plans for Roman Reigns to compete in a WarGames match at WWE Survivor Series following his return from filming.

Major WWE Stars Announced for Survivor Series

Roman Reigns is expected to make a major in-ring return at WWE Survivor Series: WarGames in November, with speculation pointing to his involvement in the main event. Reports suggest a WarGames bout featuring Reigns and his allies against Seth Rollins’ faction, The Vision. WWE fueled the talk by featuring Reigns on the event’s promotional poster.

Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter tied Reigns’ availability to the completion of his acting work. “Reigns was to finish filming ‘Street Fighter 2’ this week. So he’ll be available to come back. He’s scheduled for Survivor Series which is probably going to be another War Games with Reigns & Usos and two others against The Vision (the name the Rollins group is going by) and two others,” Meltzer reported.

Reigns had been away from WWE television while filming the live-action Street Fighter 2 movie in Australia, where he plays Akuma. Production began in early September and concluded on September 25.

His absence was explained on screen with a kayfabe injury angle. After defeating Bronson Reed at Clash in Paris, Reigns was stretchered out following a post-match attack by Reed and Bron Breakker. WWE has already confirmed his next appearance for Crown Jewel on October 11 in Australia, ahead of the anticipated Survivor Series return.

A WarGames showdown would intensify Reigns’ ongoing feud with The Vision, which began after Paul Heyman’s turn at WrestleMania 41. Reigns and Jey Uso previously clashed with members of the faction at SummerSlam. His extended hiatus, consistent with his part-time schedule, also led to his removal from the PWI 500 list for 2025 due to inactivity.

In addition to Reigns, several top WWE stars are being advertised for Survivor Series, including John Cena, Rey Mysterio, CM Punk, Rhea Ripley, Bianca Belair, Naomi, and Seth Rollins.
