Mandy Rose Suffers Embarrassing X Correction Over WWE Title Claim
Mandy Rose’s attempt to call out WWE for ignoring her “first double champion” status backfired when an X Community Note corrected her inaccurate claim.

Sometimes taking shots at your former employer can backfire spectacularly. That’s exactly what happened when Mandy Rose tried to call out WWE for allegedly erasing her accomplishments.
The drama unfolded when a fan claimed Rose was actually the first women’s double champion in WWE history, not current star Stephanie Vaquer. Rose enthusiastically agreed, responding, “Haha yea it’s pretty pathetic isn’t it!! Thanks for the recognition tho! Appreciate you!!”

That’s when things went sideways. An X Community Note quickly appeared, fact-checking Rose’s claim by pointing out she was never technically a double champion since the NXT UK Women’s Championship was retired and merged with the NXT Women’s Championship after she won it.
The correction might not have been harsh, but it publicly contradicted Rose’s attempt to take credit for being WWE’s first women’s double champion. Talk about an awkward moment in the timeline.
Fan reactions were predictably mixed. Some supporters argued Rose should still receive credit for unifying the titles, while others mocked her for trying to bend the facts to fit her narrative.
Rose departed WWE in December 2022, and clearly there’s still some lingering feelings about how things ended.
