Maxwell Jacob Friedman has once again blurred the line between character and reality. In a heated social media exchange, the former AEW World Champion targeted recently released WWE star Andrade, taking direct aim at his real-life divorce from Charlotte Flair in a pointed insult.
The exchange began shortly after news of Andrade’s WWE release surfaced last week. After Andrade warned Friedman to “be careful in Mexico,” MJF fired back with a personal shot.
“I’ll boot you off the face of this earth faster than charlotte booted you out of your house, amigo,” he posted, referencing Andrade’s separation from Flair, which was finalized late last year following a two-year marriage.
Friedman escalated further, invoking Andrade’s backstage altercation with Sammy Guevara in AEW nearly three years ago. “I love Sammy (no I don’t) but I’m not him. F—king try me,” he wrote, alluding to the fight that led to suspensions for both men.

The outburst adds fuel to MJF’s already volatile persona as he prepares for a violent showdown this Saturday. At AEW All Out in Toronto, he is scheduled to face Mark Briscoe in a Tables and Thumbtacks No DQ Match.
Andrade’s WWE exit, meanwhile, followed weeks of mounting frustration. According to PWInsider, the company granted his release after he had become increasingly unreachable, despite having considerable time left on his deal. With his prior AEW run ending on positive terms, speculation has quickly turned to whether this personal feud with MJF could mark the opening chapter of his next move.
