Multi-Time WWE Champion Returns During Live Event
Sheamus returned to in-ring action at WWE’s Belfast live event, challenging Bron Breakker for the Intercontinental Championship for the fourth time since his Royal Rumble appearance.

The Celtic Warrior made his in-ring return on home soil as Sheamus stepped back into action during WWE’s European tour stop in Belfast.
The Irish powerhouse challenged Intercontinental Champion Bron Breakker in yet another unsuccessful bid to capture the one title that’s eluded him throughout his WWE run.
“The boy is back in town,” Sheamus posted on social media alongside footage of his entrance at the Northern Ireland house show.

This marked Sheamus’ first appearance since spending over 15 minutes in the 2025 Men’s Royal Rumble before being eliminated by Roman Reigns.
Had he won the Rumble, Sheamus planned to pursue the Intercontinental Championship to complete his Grand Slam status in WWE.
Meanwhile, Breakker continues his dominant title run, having defended against multiple challengers including Finn Balor on last week’s Raw in Brussels.
As Breakker continues to turn back challenger after challenger, one has to wonder if WWE might finally give Sheamus his crowning moment or if this elusive title will remain just beyond his grasp heading into WrestleMania season.
