A former roommate of Masha Slamovich has come forward with allegations of abuse and manipulation, directly disputing the TNA star’s recent statement. The individual claims Slamovich physically threatened them, manipulated her ex-partner AKIRA, and created a chaotic home environment, challenging her characterization of the relationship as “mutually destructive.”
The roommate alleged on Twitter that Slamovich threatened them with violence, saying they would be “put in the hospital or f—-d killed” for speaking out. They also described being woken by hours-long screaming matches between Slamovich and AKIRA.
According to the testimony, the confrontations were not mutual. The roommate claimed Slamovich assaulted AKIRA and then questioned why he did not fight back. “She would then turn around and cry wolf, immediately screaming bloody murder for help until he would let her go, only for her to go back to hitting him.”
The allegations also involve claims of extreme control. The roommate stated Slamovich tried to dictate every aspect of AKIRA’s career and personal life, including his ring gear, body shape, moveset, and the promotions he worked for. “She was on the opposite spectrum, believing her actions were justified and actually ‘needed’ to help turn AKIRA into whatever image suited her fancy that month…”
These accusations contradict Slamovich’s statement released Wednesday, September 24, in which she described the relationship with AKIRA as “toxic and mutually destructive.” Following AKIRA’s initial allegations, TNA Wrestling confirmed an internal investigation was underway.
Slamovich has already been pulled from her scheduled Knockouts Championship match at Victory Road. Several independent promotions have also removed her from upcoming appearances. These developments arrive as a Fightful Select report indicates her TNA contract is nearing expiration.
The controversy escalated after a friend of AKIRA, real name Alexander Atkisson, released alleged screenshots of troubling behavior. In a separate statement, Atkisson revealed he attempted suicide multiple times during the relationship. His best friend has also publicly accused Slamovich of lying.
The former roommate closed their statement by saying they do not regret speaking out. “If anything I’ll regret losing friends for saying anything, ‘cause I’m sure it’ll happen.”
I have no real regrets over my place in that situation, I probably prevented more shit form happening than whatever did. If anything I'll regret losing friends for saying anything, cause im sure it'll happen.
