Xavier Woods responded to the intense fan backlash following The New Day’s controversial segment on RAW. After facing hostile reactions from the crowd, Woods shared several photos with Kofi Kingston on Instagram, accompanied by a brief message.

The segment saw Kingston and Woods attempting to justify their actions against Big E during The New Day’s 10th anniversary celebration. Their explanation was met with overwhelming boos from the audience. The situation escalated when Kingston’s mother, who had traveled from Ghana to attend the show, refused to embrace her son before leaving the arena.

Woods addressed the situation through his Instagram post, which featured multiple images of himself alongside Kingston. His caption was direct and seemingly defiant:

Dominik Mysterio mocks Kingston after family rejection

Following the emotionally charged segment, Dominik Mysterio took aim at Kofi Kingston on social media. Earlier in the show, Kingston and Woods had sought understanding from Mysterio, believing he could relate to their situation. Instead, Mysterio distanced himself from their actions, stating that while he held no fondness for Big E, The New Day’s betrayal crossed a line.

Kingston later expressed his frustration on X/Twitter regarding the incident with his mother. Dominik Mysterio responded with a provocative message, sharing a GIF that read:

Big E

Former WWE Champion Could Find Support From Real-Life Bloodline Member Against Major Stable

Recently ostracized by The New Day, Big E might seek revenge with help from Zilla Fatu, who expressed anger after Kofi Kingston disrespected his merchandise on RAW.

Big E has been outside The New Day for several months following his removal from the group. During this time, Xavier Woods and Kofi Kingston have continuously spoken negatively about their former teammate.

A potential ally for Big E emerged recently in the form of Zilla Fatu, a real-life member of the Bloodline family. Though not currently signed to WWE, Fatu has been connected to the company through various reports.

The connection between Big E and Fatu developed after an incident on this week’s RAW. During their entrance for a Tornado Tag Team match against the LWO, Kingston spotted a fan holding a Zilla Fatu foam thumb and proceeded to remove it from the fan before throwing it away.

Fatu witnessed this disrespectful act while watching the broadcast and responded strongly on social media. The young wrestler vowed to physically confront both Woods and Kingston when he next encounters them.

This shared animosity toward The New Day creates a natural opportunity for Big E to potentially align with Fatu should he join WWE in the near future. Their partnership could take the form of a tag team or Big E serving as Fatu’s manager if he remains unable to return to in-ring competition.

This potential alliance remains speculative at this point, as no official announcements have been made regarding either Big E’s future plans or Fatu’s possible WWE signing.

“What’s in store for @biancabelairwwe TONIGHT on #WWERaw?” WWE posted alongside the arrival video.

The EST was also present during last week’s Raw when she witnessed IYO SKY capture the Women’s World Championship from Rhea Ripley. Belair is scheduled to challenge for the title at WrestleMania 41.

Naomi replaced Cargill as Belair’s tag team partner following the attack last year. The duo held the Women’s Tag Team Championships until Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez from The Judgment Day defeated them last month.

Tonight’s Raw from Madison Square Garden will feature a steel cage grudge match between Seth Rollins and CM Punk, continuing their heated rivalry that escalated at WWE Elimination Chamber. Cody Rhodes is also scheduled to make an appearance at the show.

Former WWE Champion Big E shared his perspective on Xavier Woods and Kofi Kingston’s recent heel turn during an appearance on “X-Pod 97.”

I’m really proud of what we’ve built, as a collective, (…) but now, for better or worse, the wrestling world is talking about those two again

During the interview, Big E mentioned that Woods and Kingston have found renewed motivation following their character change. He also referenced their on-screen heel turn as a unique moment in wrestling.

I can’t think of any other turn that went the way it did

Big E also discussed the fan reaction he experiences when meeting supporters in person. Many fans express their disapproval of Kingston and Woods’ new direction directly to him.

I really feel like the community has rallied behind me in ways that are beyond humbling for me. I appreciate all the love, but the most part it’s a lot of, in person, people telling me that Kofi and Woods can go to hell
