New Hologram Rivalry Teased on AEW Collision

Following his 31st consecutive victory, a cryptic vignette on AEW Collision introduced a sinister "clone" of the undefeated wrestler Hologram, suggesting a new storyline is imminent.

New Hologram Rivalry Teased on AEW Collision

A new rival appears to be on the horizon for the undefeated AEW star Hologram. After his victory over Jay Lethal on the August 30 episode of Collision, a segment hinted at the arrival of a dark doppelgänger.

The arena lights turned red following the match, and text messages appeared on the main screen, stating “Clon activated” and “Access Granted.” A brief visual of a sinister-looking version of Hologram was shown before the word “soon” concluded the vignette. The segment ended with Hologram in the ring, clutching his head in confusion.

This development follows a similar tease that occurred the previous night at Ring of Honor’s Death Before Dishonor. Before Hologram’s match, a message reading “Access Denied” appeared on screen, signaling an issue with his programming.

The introduction of this “clone” appears to be the result of long-term planning. AEW filed trademarks for the names “The Clone” and “El Clon” nearly a year ago, in September 2024.

Hologram, formerly known as the luchador Aramis, made his AEW debut on July 20, 2024, and has since compiled an undefeated streak of 31-0. His career was briefly paused in October 2024 after he sustained an ankle injury at WrestleDream. He returned to action in February 2025 and later joined The Conglomeration stable in June.
