Nikki Bella has made her intentions clear, stating that her current return to WWE is the beginning of a sustained, long-term run and not a temporary appearance. Her new chapter begins with a confirmed entry into the high-stakes Battle Royal at Evolution 2.
The WWE Hall of Famer’s return will take place at the premium live event on Sunday, July 13, in Atlanta. The winner of the Battle Royal will secure a women’s championship match at Clash in Paris on August 31. This direction marks a significant shift from original plans, which had Bella slated for a program against Liv Morgan. Those creative plans were altered after Morgan suffered a legitimate shoulder injury during the June 16 episode of WWE RAW, leaving Bella’s path forward open until the Battle Royal announcement.
Appearing on the “Busted Open Radio” podcast, Nikki Bella detailed her mindset and ambitions for this new phase of her career.
“I’m so excited for the battle royal. I want that big moment. To have such a big moment, I really want to win because it’s the perfect way to start a big comeback. A comeback that is not just here for a month or two, it’s here for a while,” she stated. “Sometimes things work in funny ways and the Liv story, maybe that would have been it. Now, the battle royal opens up to a whole new beginning of things.”
Adding another layer to her comeback, Bella has also teased a potential reunion with her sister, Brie Bella. She has noted that conversations about a Bella Twins reunion have taken place, although nothing is finalized for Brie’s return to the ring. Nikki has previously expressed a long-standing desire for a dream match with Rhea Ripley, underscoring the scope of her ambitions now that she is back for an extended run.
