Following AJ Lee's WWE return, Nikki Bella commented on a potential rematch, calling their past rivalry a "magical run" while also hinting at possible returns for Brie Bella and Saraya.

Nikki Bella Suggests Rematch After AJ Lee’s WWE Return

Nikki Bella has responded to AJ Lee’s return to WWE, fueling speculation about a potential in-ring reunion between the two former rivals. In a social media post, Bella also teased the possibility of more Divas-era returns, specifically naming her sister Brie Bella and Saraya (Paige).

Replying to a fan about facing Lee again, Bella expressed her enthusiasm for the idea and for the current landscape in 2025.

“That would be so fun! We had a great and magical run! Loving 2025 so much!!! Goodness imagine if Paige and Brie showed up!” Bella stated on X.

Bella’s comments come after her own return to a WWE ring earlier in 2025 at the Women’s Royal Rumble. Her post addresses the major return of Lee, who appeared on the September 5th edition of SmackDown.

Lee’s appearance occurred after Becky Lynch slapped CM Punk. Punk stated he would not hit a woman but knew someone who would, which prompted Lee to enter the ring and attack Lynch, leaving with the Women’s Intercontinental Championship.

Return Could Lead To Match At WWE WrestlePalooza

The ongoing feud is expected to lead to a mixed tag team match at WrestlePalooza on September 20, featuring Lee and Punk against Lynch and Seth Rollins. Lee is reportedly scheduled to appear on Monday Night Raw to help finalize the match setup.

The animosity between the two couples escalated at the Clash in Paris premium live event, where Lynch hit Punk with a low blow to help Rollins retain the World Heavyweight Championship. On a recent SmackDown, Rollins also cut a promo stating Punk would “d—” in his hometown.

Lee’s comeback marks a significant development, as Paul “Triple H” Levesque has confirmed she signed a full-time, multi-year contract. This is her first run in WWE since she retired in March 2015 due to permanent damage to her cervical spine.
