A WWE Hall of Famer has put forward suggestions to expand the WrestleMania lineup in future years, aiming to get more performers on wrestling’s biggest showcase. The proposal focuses on reviving traditional matches that have recently been shifted away from the main card.
Nikki Bella, who competed at four WrestleMania events during her WWE run, voiced her desire to see the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal return to the actual WrestleMania card. The match has been held on SmackDown before WrestleMania since 2021, rather than on the premium live event itself. Bella also advocated for bringing back the Women’s Battle Royal, which has been absent since 2020.
Speaking on The Nikki & Brie Show, the former competitor explained her reasoning:
This is my one thing with ‘Mania. I wish there was just a way to get everyone involved. I loved when they had the Battle Royals, and now with two nights they should do a male one and a female one, and then you see everyone.

The Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal has been a WrestleMania weekend fixture since its introduction, though its placement has varied over the years. Meanwhile, the Women’s Battle Royal was established in 2018 as a counterpart to the men’s match but was discontinued after just two years.
With WrestleMania now spanning two nights, Bella’s suggestion would utilize the expanded format to showcase more talent from both the men’s and women’s rosters, potentially creating more memorable moments for performers who might otherwise miss the event entirely.
