Pro Wrestling NOAH has declared the GHC Tag Team Championship vacant following Omos’ announcement during a January 25 event in Osaka. The WWE Superstar, who debuted in NOAH on New Year’s Day alongside Jack Morris, attempted to transfer his championship to Team 2000X member Daga before departing.

I’m going back to WWE so I’ll give this belt to Daga. Please increase the value of this belt. The champs are now Jack Morris & Daga. I don’t know when but I’ll come back.

Pro Wrestling NOAH responded to this development through their social media channels, stating their position on the attempted title transfer.

GHC Tag Team Titles UPDATE In the GHC Tag Team match on January 25, the champions Jack Morris & Omos defended their titles. Omos handed his title to Daga but this transfer will not be recognised and the titles will be declared vacant.

Omos and Morris had captured the GHC Tag Team Championship during NOAH’s New Year’s Day show in Tokyo, where Omos made his surprise debut as Morris’ mystery partner in their victory over Naomichi Marufuji and Takashi Sugiura.
