The complex history between Roman Reigns and Paul Heyman reached a new flashpoint on WWE RAW, as Heyman made a direct appeal to his former Tribal Chief, only to be firmly rejected. The confrontation came a week after Reigns made his return by laying out Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed.
In a segment with his current associates, Heyman addressed Reigns directly. Citing the significant injury that will keep Seth Rollins out of action for a long time, Heyman offered The Visionary’s prominent spot to Reigns. The WWE Hall of Famer claimed they could repair their fractured relationship.
“I love you, my Tribal Chief,” Heyman said.
Reigns’ response was swift and dismissive, turning down the proposal immediately and calling his former manager a “dumba.” He then turned his attention to Bron Breakker, advising the rising star that in a few years, Heyman would try to take all the credit for his inevitable success.
The Original Tribal Chief also dismantled Heyman’s perceived importance to his historic championship reign, stating that The Usos, Solo Sikoa, and Sami Zayn were the actual pillars of that success.
Reigns saved his most cutting remarks for last, explaining what bothered him most. He accused Heyman of betraying him after being welcomed into his family, ultimately blaming his former advocate for ruining The Bloodline.
