Penta has set his sights on several high-profile opponents since joining WWE, outlining an ambitious list of potential dream matches. During an appearance on Insight with Chris Van Vliet, the masked superstar shared his aspirations for future matchups against some of WWE’s most prominent names.
I have a few names, but the truth is, no matter who is in the ring, no matter what he won, I want to win everything in WWE. John Cena, Punk, Cody, Seth Rollins, The Tribal Chief [Roman Reigns], [Jacob] Fatu. A lot of wrestlers I want for Penta. Because for example with CM Punk I had one match, he won, I need revenge. The rematch with him — with Cody too. But for me, a special dream match is Penta vs. John Cena or Penta vs. Finn Balor.
The conversation expanded to include additional potential opponents, with Van Vliet suggesting Rey Mysterio and current Intercontinental Champion Bron Breakker as compelling matchups. WWE has already begun teasing a possible confrontation between Penta and Breakker, suggesting one of these dream matches could materialize in the near future.
Penta’s recent Royal Rumble performance demonstrated his ability to compete at the highest level in WWE. Entering the men’s Royal Rumble match as the first entrant alongside Rey Mysterio, Penta showcased his endurance by lasting over 40 minutes before being eliminated by Finn Balor, one of his named dream opponents.
