Penta remains committed to his iconic mask for now but teased a major change down the line. During an interview on WWE – Die Woche, the veteran Luchador admitted he’d consider unmasking under special circumstances.
“This is a good question. In the present, no,” Penta stated. However, he hinted at a future stipulation match, adding, “Maybe mask vs. mask, mask vs. hair, or mask vs. something… It has to be something special.”
When pressed about a potential opponent, Penta dismissed Rey Mysterio and Dragon Lee before agreeing with the host’s suggestion of Rey Fenix. “This is my dream match,” he revealed. “Penta vs. Fenix, mask vs. mask.”
Though uncertain about timing, Penta speculated it could take a decade or longer. Meanwhile, Fenix recently debuted on SmackDown, while Penta competes on Raw.
Reports suggest WWE may eventually reunite the brothers for a major storyline. Both made their WrestleMania debuts last month, with Penta in an Intercontinental Title match and Fenix replacing an injured Mysterio.
