John Cena will return to WWE television in Brussels during the European tour on March 17, and many expect this to be the place where he addresses his heel turn. Cena turned heel at Elimination Chamber but wasn’t on Raw afterward and isn’t scheduled to appear on Raw tonight at Madison Square Garden.

Despite plans for Cena to appear, WWE reportedly has concerns about having him deliver a full promo in Brussels due to language considerations.

Cena is likely to return on Monday, but I’m hearing from reliable sources that WWE may be reluctant to have him actually speak and address his turn verbally in Brussels. The concern is that Brussels is not an English-speaking city, and Belgium’s primary language is not English. So, will WWE get the reaction they want from the promo?

Instead of having Cena deliver an extended promo, WWE is considering an alternative approach involving R-Truth.

Now, this isn’t confirmed news, but I’ve been told it has been heavily discussed to the point where I’m comfortable reporting it. I’m not saying it’s going to happen, but it does seem like WWE is very keen on this direction. At this juncture, R-Truth is likely to interrupt Cena, and instead of making this Cena’s first full promo as a heel, WWE would use the segment to generate more heat.

The potential angle would capitalize on R-Truth’s long-established on-screen admiration for Cena, which could make for a dramatic moment if Cena turns on him.

Cena turning on R-Truth—who has openly stated that Cena is his childhood idol and often mimics him in kayfabe—would be a huge moment. If Cena destroys R-Truth to the point where we even get some color, it would put significant heat on him.

Cena has not been seen on WWE programming since his shocking heel turn at Elimination Chamber where he aligned with The Rock against Cody Rhodes.
