The proposed team name reportedly references The Rock’s late father, Rocky Johnson, who was known as “The Soulman,” rather than suggesting Cena “sold his soul” to align with The Rock.
The partnership between the two former rivals began at WWE Elimination Chamber in Toronto when Cena turned heel by attacking Cody Rhodes immediately after winning the Men’s Elimination Chamber Match.
