UFC legend Quinton “Rampage” Jackson has made it clear he will not shield his son from accountability following the 25-year-old’s arrest on felony charges. Hours after Raja Jackson bonded out of jail, Rampage addressed the situation in a blunt livestream on Kick, stating his son “f—ed up” and must face the consequences of his violent actions at a recent independent wrestling event.
The arrest stems from a disturbing incident last month at a Knokx Pro Wrestling show in Los Angeles. Viral footage captured Raja storming the ring, slamming wrestler Syko Stu (real name Stuart Smith) to the mat, and unleashing nearly two dozen punches on his seemingly unconscious opponent before officials were able to intervene. He was booked Thursday morning on a felony charge of battery with serious bodily injury and later released on a $50,000 bond.
During his livestream, Rampage emphasized that his son’s behavior was not a reflection of his upbringing. “It is what it is, all I can do is be a dad. He don’t listen to me,” Jackson said. “At the end of the day, he can’t say I didn’t do what I was supposed to do as a dad.”
The wrestling community, meanwhile, has rallied around Smith, who suffered a fractured maxilla bone and a broken jaw in the attack. He spent several days in the hospital before being discharged to continue recovery at home. A fundraiser to cover medical expenses has already surpassed $150,000, aided by high-profile donations from Chris Jericho, Finn Bálor, and YouTube star MrBeast.
Rampage’s comments grew even more pointed as he processed the fallout, calling his son’s actions a wake-up call. The former UFC champion suggested Raja should face serious consequences, including possible prison time and mandatory therapy.
With Raja now out on bond, the legal process is just beginning. Between the viral video evidence, the severity of Smith’s injuries, and the public condemnation from his own father, the outlook for the 25-year-old appears increasingly precarious.
