Raja Jackson, the son of UFC legend Quinton “Rampage” Jackson, was arrested Thursday morning in connection with a violent attack on independent wrestler Syko Stu at a Los Angeles wrestling event last month.
TMZ Sports first reported the arrest, confirming that the 25-year-old was taken into custody and booked on a felony charge. Jail records indicate Jackson is being held on a $50,000 bond.
The incident occurred at a Knokx Pro Wrestling show, where Jackson entered the ring during Syko Stu’s match and launched an assault. Viral footage of the attack showed Jackson lifting and slamming Stu before delivering approximately 20 punches to his unconscious opponent. Other wrestlers eventually intervened to stop the beating.
The aftermath left Syko Stu — real name Stuart Smith — with serious injuries, including a broken jaw and multiple facial fractures that required hospitalization. He has since been discharged and is recovering at home, but the rehabilitation process is expected to be lengthy.
The wrestling community has rallied in support of Smith. A fundraising campaign has already raised more than $150,000, with high-profile contributions from Chris Jericho, Finn Bálor, and YouTuber Mr. Beast.
Even Raja’s father, Rampage Jackson, has publicly condemned his son’s actions. The former UFC champion stated that Raja should face real consequences, including prison time, community service, and therapy.
With felony charges now pending, the legal system will dictate what comes next in a case that saw legitimate violence spill into the ring, leaving lasting consequences for both the victim and the attacker.
