Orton remains optimistic about participating in some capacity at WrestleMania despite the setback.

I’m staying optimistic and I believe that – not to sound arrogant or anything – but I think that… it’s even hard for me to say this, but the weight that the name Randy Orton has in the world of Pro Wrestling, in our bubble or whatever you want to call it.

The veteran specifically mentioned his desire to perform his finishing move during wrestling’s biggest showcase.

I think it would be a shame if I wasn’t put in a position where I could at least pull off an RKO at WrestleMania.

Orton expressed confidence that WWE’s creative team would develop a meaningful opportunity for him before the event arrives.

My hope is that we can find something that makes sense and engages the audience.
