The escalating conflict between Rhea Ripley and the newly reformed Kabuki Warriors took a violent turn on the September 29 edition of Monday Night Raw, culminating in a two-on-one ambush that left Ripley incapacitated in the center of the ring. The attack occurred after a tense in-ring segment where Asuka and Kairi Sane used a psychological angle to isolate Ripley from her ally, Iyo Sky.
After being called out by Ripley earlier in the broadcast, Asuka and Kairi Sane appeared on the Titan Tron to address Iyo Sky directly. Asuka claimed she made Sky a Women’s World Champion and demanded an apology, offering Sky a chance to be her “student” again alongside Sane. This appeal left Sky visibly conflicted; she apologized to Ripley, stating she needed time before heading to the back.
This departure left Ripley vulnerable to a blindside attack from Asuka and Sane, who emerged to beat her down. Sky ran back to the ring and pulled Asuka off Ripley, but was immediately neutralized when Asuka sprayed her signature mist into Sky’s eyes.
Ripley mounted a brief comeback, landing a headbutt on Sane and setting up for the Rip Tide. However, Asuka intervened, and the pair sent Ripley shoulder-first into opposite corners of the ring. The Kabuki Warriors then finished the assault by hitting Ripley with stereo spinning back fists before Asuka trapped her in the Asuka Lock, allowing Sane to connect with an In-Sane Elbow.
The angle is a direct continuation of the events from the September 22 episode of Raw. On that broadcast, Asuka and Sane officially reunited as The Kabuki Warriors, executing a shocking heel turn. Following a main event match where Ripley pinned Asuka, the duo first attacked Ripley and then brutally turned on Iyo Sky, cementing their new, villainous alliance.
