Rhea Ripley has shared visual evidence of the physical toll from her WrestleMania 41 appearance. The WWE performer posted an image to her Instagram account displaying a noticeable black eye following her participation in the premium live event.
The facial injury occurred during the opening contest of WrestleMania 41’s second night, where Rhea Ripley competed in a Triple Threat match for the Women’s World Championship. The bout featured Ripley squaring off against Bianca Belair and defending champion IYO SKY in Las Vegas.
The match concluded when Bianca Belair countered Ripley’s Riptide finishing move and executed her own KOD maneuver. Before Belair could secure the pin, SKY capitalized on the moment by delivering her Over The Moonsault on Belair, allowing SKY to retain her championship by pinning Belair while Ripley was incapacitated.
Despite the visible injury and championship match defeat, the contest received significant praise from the WrestleMania audience. Fan reaction positioned the Triple Threat as potentially one of the strongest opening matches in WrestleMania history, with viewers appreciating the in-ring performance delivered by all three competitors.
