Ricky Saints captured the NXT Championship from Oba Femi in the main event of No Mercy on September 27, 2025. The bout took place at the FTL War Memorial in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, where Saints scored the decisive pinfall in the center of the ring.
The finish came after Saints unleashed four consecutive DDTs to break down the champion. The sequence ended with a tornado DDT from the ropes that immediately secured the three-count.
This victory marks Saints’ second championship in WWE. His first was the North American Title, which he held for 56 days.
For Oba Femi, the defeat is a rare setback. It was only the second time he had been pinned in his WWE career. The first performer to achieve that feat was Tony D’Angelo.
The contest included several pivotal moments. At one point, Femi set up the announcers’ table, but Saints reversed the attempt with a DDT onto it. Later, Femi survived Saints’ Fall from Grace and delivered a powerbomb that came within a heartbeat of ending the match, before the final DDT sequence closed the night.
