Roman Reigns could face Seth Rollins in major match soon, WWE analyst says
WWE analyst Sam Roberts suggests compelling six-man tag team match for Saturday Night’s Main Event, featuring top stars Roman Reigns, CM Punk, and Cody Rhodes against formidable opponents.
Sam Roberts envisions a high-profile six-man tag team match for Saturday Night’s Main Event on January 25, 2025, featuring Roman Reigns, Cody Rhodes, and CM Punk against Seth Rollins, Drew McIntyre, and Kevin Owens at the Frost Bank Center.
“Roman, Punk, Cody vs. Seth, Drew, and KO could be absolutely magical,” Roberts stated on his Notsam Wrestling podcast. He also suggested alternative combinations involving The Usos or Sami Zayn, depending on Jimmy Uso’s injury status.
The potential match would interweave multiple ongoing storylines. McIntyre recently identified Reigns as a future target after defeating Sami Zayn, while Rollins prepares to face Punk on RAW’s Netflix premiere. Rhodes continues his feud with Owens following their clash at the December 14 event.
Reigns is scheduled to face Solo Sikoa in Tribal Combat on RAW’s Netflix debut. Roberts speculated this match could conclude with The Rock’s return to confront Reigns after reclaiming the Ula Fala.
